|
|
As a result of a recruitment drive, Fabricast are pleased to announce the appointment of our
latest apprentice who joined the company on a 4-year apprenticeship scheme within our
Coppersmithing workshops.

and is currently learning pipework skills associated with our higly skilled workshops,
including metal forming, bending and welding under the mentorship of our skilled Coppersmiths.
Cameron says his Fabricast engineering apprenticeship is a great opportunity, where he
enjoys being taught hands-on practical skills, as well as college study days where he can
learn the science behind metal engineering and coppersmithing.
Geoff Ferguson, Fabricast Operations Director said, "A key strength of Fabricast is our
highly skilled team of engineers. It is important for the business to train and retain a
skilled workforce with the widest range of modern engineering skills to drive the business
forward. Fabricast has a tradition for people development within the organisation, especially
in our core engineering skills and our latest apprenticeships continue this approach and our
commitment to train for the highest standard of customer service. Cameron has already demonstrated

Fabricast Team Grows for Charity
|
|
Throughout the month, the team proudly showed off their moustaches and received generous donations
from various parties. Donations achieved at November-end stood at a very respectable £493, and with
this was matched by Fabricast so the total reached a "fan-tash-tic" £986!
All monies go directly to the men's health partners of Movember - Prostate Cancer UK and the Institute of Cancer Research.
The whole of the Fabri-tash team and Fabricast Group Ltd would like to thank everyone for their generous donations.
Without your support November would have been chillier and somewhat less fun - thank you from all of us.

manufacturing and marketing more than a quarter of the world's production of PMMA.
In the UK, Fabricast's long association with Altuglas has been rewarded with the accolade

ultraviolet and many chemical agents. Over the years, they retain their beauty and
strength. Despite its natural hardness, If Altuglas sheet becomes scratched: it can then
be made as good as new, simply by polishing using Altuglas Polish. Altuglas has many
insulating properties: thermal (10 times that of glass), acoustic and electrical.
Easy to machine, fold and adhere, Altuglas has established itself as being the chosen
material of fabricators, designers, specifiers and end-users throughout Europe.
