Fabricast Group achieve appointed
‘Partner Status’ for Altuglas acrylic sheet
Altuglas International is a global leader in PMMA: Acrylic Sheet and Resin,
manufacturing and marketing more than a quarter of the world's production of PMMA.

In the UK, Fabricast’s long association with Altuglas has been rewarded with the accolade
of Partner Status for Altuglas acrylic based products in cast and extruded acrylic sheet,
together with blocks, rods, tubes and other products used in applications such as signage,
shop decor and fittings, Point of Sale, building and architectural fittings.

Its perfect surface, transparency and sensual feel explain why Altuglas PMMA is so
successful in every application. Clear as crystal, Altuglas transmits and reflects light
better than the finest glass. When body-tinted, Altuglas diffuses light and enables tinted
lighting systems to be created. Altuglas is a low-density, rigid material that is even suited
to complex assemblies.

The properties of Altuglas sheet arise from a manufacturing process that meets the
strictest standards: no impurities, complete flatness. Altuglas sheet are resistant to heat,
ultraviolet and many chemical agents. Over the years, they retain their beauty and
strength. Despite its natural hardness, If Altuglas sheet becomes scratched: it can then
be made as good as new, simply by polishing using Altuglas Polish. Altuglas has many
insulating properties: thermal (10 times that of glass), acoustic and electrical.

Hygienic Stainless Steel Fittings
Fabricast are pleased to announce the additional stockholding of a new and expanded range of Stainless Steel Hygienic pipe, fittings and valves. The range is vast and includes Pipe - polished and descaled Bends (45 deg -90 deg long and short radius) Equal Tees pieces Reducers - concentric and eccentric Couplings - RJT , IDF, Clamp, SMS , DIN , Pipe Clips and a full range of fittings including BSP.

Fabricast offers a comprehensive range of butterfly and ball type valves. Grades include 304 and 316. Customers needing pipe welding and manipulation can depend on Fabricast's ISO 9001:2008 accredited workshop for bespoke pipe and fitting assemblies.
